Hi troops!
First of all, I'm into both military modeling and model railway modelling in H0-scale (1:87).
My wish will potentially open a new market-arena for Prince August, because I wish that Prince August would make figure-moulds in 1:87 scale (H0), or close to H0-scale like for example 20mm scale.
I have actually no specific figures in mind, but it could be both military and civilian figures.
Despite that H0 is a model railway scale, it has lately become a popular military scale as well. This is because some modellers use these items at their modelrailway layouts, and others has found this scale handy for wargaming. All figures doesen't need to have combat-poses, since it is a lack of military figures in more casual and daily life poses. Do I need to mention that I as a scandinavian, really welcomes scandinavian military figures (since no one has ever made some of those in this scale)?
On the other hand, civilian figures made for the railway modelers in mind, the posibilities are endless.
I would suggest figure-moulds with for excample five different poses.
It is soon christmas and I've been a good boy this year, so it is allowed to whish, isn't it?
Whit kindly regards

Recently, while converting a group of Prince August Traditional Soldiers 30th Lancers into proper Bengal lancers for the Sudan Campaign, adding beards, proper Sam Brown belting, carbines in holsters etc., I decided to improve their horses as well. After laboriously filing off the saddle, blanket and holsters from several copies of the PA Napoleon’s horse and rebuilding everything from A/B putty I discovered just how beautiful a figure this really is. If Prince August wants a really useful new mould with the potential of selling to a very large clientele they wouldn’t go wrong reissuing this magnificent piece without all the annoying saddlery. This would turn a figure with a very limited market (how many Napoleons does one need anyway) to one with the potential to sell to all sorts of hobbyists. It would be even better if one or two additional body halves were to be produced at the same time that would match up with the original ones. With as few as only two extra halves a total of four different horses could be produced and if the hobbyist is prepared to rebuild the necks (a surprisingly easy conversion) the number goes up dramatically. There is a very large body of toy soldier collectors and converters out there looking desperately for suitable mounts for their figures and these would be ideal.
In this same vein the addition of a dromedary camel to the Nativity set would also have huge cross over potential. Nativity sets traditionally have animals in them (manger after all) and I have seen very few without at least one or two camels. Surprisingly enough this is a very uncommon figure in 54mm and yet one that is needed for any number of different armies.
I have found the PA figures extremely adaptable for conversion into other figures and would prefer to use nothing else. Moulds to make parts for conversions, things like animals, heads, spare arms, weapons and so forth would, in my opinion, have a far greater market appeal than anything else I can think of.
