Actually, when I painted them I didn't have many refrence on the period - so I just painted him up as I saw fit! I learned though, and now am painting the models historically accurately...

Yes, one of the irritating things about the original PA moulds was that they were grenadiers, meaning you could have them as grenadiers of the line, voltigeurs of the line, or light infantry, but not line fusiliers...so you couldn't build a balanced wargames French army.
French fusliers had one crossbelt, no plume, no epaulettes, no sword, and the bayonet scabbard on the right hip. Quite a lot to convert from the original PA grenadier....

Any recommendations on the best websites to log into for accurate uniform painting. I recently painted some french grenadiers in what I think are Westphalian colours.
