i was wondering where can i find tin scrap yards,junk yards maybe?any one can tell me?

Well, I would look up your local telephone directory, or even search on-line (although I am not sure scrapyards are big on the internet). Ask some local businesses or mechanics/garages that would likely use scrapyards for parts.
One customer told me that he goes around to carboot sales and markets and buys up all the old pewter and lead based decorations/ mugs / plates / old toys. He was in Europe of course so that may not be possible worldwide but the idea is interesting.
We cannot be sure of the results you will get from unknown alloy mixes so care should be taken when using third party materials.

prince august on what ratio should i mix lead and tin? That is up to you. We advise an even mix for better results, but 30% tin would be suitable for a start. Try it out and add more as you go. Our Casting Metal is about 50% each with some antimony in it as well. Our Model Metal has Bismuth, which is now in short supply as China is not exporting as much as it used to.
