I spent all day yesterday out on the patio casting figures with my Lee pot and Prince August moulds and had a great time but the whole time one nagging question kept gnawing at me, how can I mark my moulds so that I can tell them apart? When I first started out this wasn’t much of a problem since I didn’t have that many moulds but now that I have almost the whole of the 54mm Napoleonic line, most of the Traditional Soldier line and about a half a dozen of the 54mm Prussian line sorting through them is getting to be a chore. I was thinking white paint on the edges but I am not sure if that will harm them. Also white magic marker seems a possibility. Anyone have any suggestions? What does the company recomend?

John We use a special pen, with a wax tip that works perfectly with any mould. The mould is heated and the tip melts into it so you get a flawless result. We have a stock of them and I asked the Tool Manager to get back to me on a price for it and refills. If you are interested let me know.

I had the same problems some years ago. To day I cut the number on the top of the moulds with a knife. So now I can easily take out the moulds I need. Good Luck Didrik

I would be interested I have put it on our website, buy it as normal. It is on our starter kit 2000 page. Or look at our sitemap under M for marker or P for Pen.
