Seige equipment is a good idea but a bit advanced yet. As far as enemies go I think Gauls make very good enemies of Rome. They could also double as other Celtic influenced barbarians.

romans/gauls etc.. would be excellent addition may i suggest that you start the this range in 32mm for simple reason that they could then be used with the new fantasy moulds cheers

I think roman moulds are a terrific idea. I think a roman chess set would be just as impressive. But I would rather see roman armies in 25 mm. You can build a larger armies and depict more realistic battles. Honestly I would collect any series of roman moulds you would release.

i agree that they should be in 25mm or 40mm for skirmish type/large battle games for wargamers and nice display pieces for collectors

The final decision will be made early in 2006. We will be too busy in Jan and Feb anyway as we are making the Warforge figures. But it does look like we might see Romans next year.

Too bad not 25 mm, understood it means fixed shields and weapons, but the 25 mm is great for small armies! Not to mention I hate to change the scale of my Diorama now...

I was informed that 32mm scale is the more common scale now and that it is the future trend in miniatures. Other manufacturers are increaseing from 25/28mm to 32mm. It will therefore be likely that it will be harder to acquire new 25mm figures in future.

i think 25mm would be nice for making eoic battles but if it has to be 32mm then it dosen't realy matter cous they'l look good in any scale. Has there been any suggestion for roman nights like in the film gladiator or a roman ballistar ? But the sooner these romans atre out the better!!!

Romans is a great idea, the options are so broad that the initial epoch does not really matter. My prefrence would be 54 mm, and possibly matching the existing line by Dutkins, in the USA, which would allow an immediate variety of poses. It would be great to add additional items such as a scorprio, a chariot or a cart for logistic transport, and of course some cavalry, with moving horses if possible. Just some idea, but I am sure they would have great following. I am ready to buy immediately whatever comes out.

Hi, my name's Steve. I live in Canada. I'm starting casting again after multiple years off. Actually, today I received my first new molds: all three of the new Medieval Warfare series. I plan to start casting tomorrow. OK, on to the subject of Romans... I'd buy any scale of Romans that PA decided to produce moulds for, however, my prefered scales would be 40mm or 54mm. As for types, and period of history... I'd like to see a line of Romano-British with armoured cavalry, infantry with spears, and irregular archers, fighting against Germanic tribes.

hia, iv just finished putting in an order for metal and i must say the sale is a great idea!!!!!, anyway i think 25mm for the romans is good because you can produce a bigger army and they are still detailed. but even if there 150mm il still buy watever prince august romans come out!!
