Well, here would be something to consider.
If you had 32mm Roman moulds, you could sell them as ALSO being useful to represent a quasi Roman faction in the fantasy world. Well detailed "legion" type models could easily become an imperial army, or the remnants of a doomed empire, or a "Romano-British" type of force. A setting's Gondor, perhaps. Or the knights of an Arthurian type world (ala the movie King Arthur).
So sell them as historical Romans, but have someone knock out a diorama with the differently painted or converted Romans knocking into orcs. (I volunteer!)
This way you can "fold" both ranges together, while still keeping them seperate.

ya gavin i like the idea of being able to use in a fantasy setting aswell. can i make one sugestion that there isnt a mould of a standard bearer/horn in the release. any army will only need 1 or 2 of these where another type troop would make much more sense. any 1 off figures can easily be purchased premaid cheers

Moulds will be for the more common soldiers, while you can buy cast figures for special troops.

Could you make the standard interchangeable (I know tough at 25 mm) with a spear or halberd? If the standard is excess, it could be cut and melted (not used) for the rest of the troops?

Standards will not be interchangable, due to the scale involved. Standard bearers will be cast figures only so do not worry about that. Just buy what you need. IT will be the legionnaires themselves that will be molds.

Thank you, thank you! I saw the coming soon page www.princeaugust.ie/ComingSoon/index.html and I can't express how excited I am. I will certainly be purchasing many molds. Any idea when they'll be released? I need to start saving up for a big purchase when they are released!

Not sure yet, It is a huge release and we have to get some painted up as well as packageing materials printed. But at least you know it is coming next year. I keep pushing for the first quarter.

Hello , I have just a couple of things to say 1:THANK YOU! I'm delighted to see your releasing these romans and i am sure to buy plenty of the molds , 2 Do they have interchangeable parts ? or are they cast as whole figures , I would prefer them to be cast hole as they will be stronger and more straight forward to cast a large army Thanks and please release them soon as i am very anxious to see these molds!

Hi, Great to see the new Roman Moulds! Its a very exciting time, waiting for their release. Just to say I don't particularly care if their packaged or not and if the painting instuctions can be down loaded, just price up the moulds as they are and I'd happily start purchasing.
