It seems that people have written a lot of stuff on the forum about the discontinued fantasy command range. How about having a poll to see what, if any, figures people would like to see re-introduced in this range, whether as moulds or cast figures? These were out before I started casting from PA moulds, so I'd be interested to know what people remember from these ranges.

I have an old handbook that P.A put out in 1985. It has some of the old 25mm fantasy command range in it. It even has the old castles that P.A used to sell.

Those figures/moulds that are still in existence from this range seem quite good- i recently got some of the orcs. In my opinion, one thing that's lacking in the current range are undead warriors- the set of three wraiths from the FA classics range are quite short in comparison to the later figures, such as elven knights and skeleton knights, and also there are no undead archers (did there used to be any skeleton ones?)

I have the 1985 book too. Even then the range was good and ever expanding ...

The Fantasy Command was a series of cast figures like standard bearers and leaders. We still have some left in stock. They were to compliment the fantasy armies series of moulds.

I'd love to see the fantasy cast miniatures line expand, plus also see more of the "older" figures: the elves, and the BRILLIANT halflings spring to mind.

The issue with fantasy cast figures is that we started Mithril Miniatures, which has a wide range of 'halflings' there. We even made a MERP series with a hobbit female archer scout. www.mithril.ie/M-Series/index.html

Being able to mould command sets would be really useful! In there absence how about a mould with three different banners on stands? Would certainly be classier than the matchstick and paper ones I'm using at the moment!!

I would be appreciative of more undead molds
