I just realized that if I combine a couple of 40mm ranges, I can recreate (somewhat) skrimishes during the French and Indian War, AKA Seven Years War in America.
I can use some of the basic infantry from the FRENCH REGIMENTS 1750 (40mm) MOULDS, 901, 902, 903 (but not the pike of course), 904 and the Artillery. They'll work for both French, British and Colonial Provencials.
Then the Indians would be Skraeling with spear 974 and Skraeling with axe 975. I could convert 975 to carry a musket too. Though I'm not really into making conversions.
I've been reading a book entitled "Redcoats" by Stephen Brumwell and it's all about the "American Army" operations during the Seven Years War.
Oh boy, looks like I've got a new project.
The only troops missing are British Rangers, Courier DuBios, Highlanders and basic militia. But they're not required. Though it would be nice to have them eventually. ;D
Best Regards, Bill White

Highlander would be nice to have, but that would require six moulds to complete a wargame unit:
Officer NCO Piper Drummer Standard-Bearer Highlander, advancing
If all figures were in the same advancing pose, a full regiment could be fielded.
