hia, iv just finished putting in an order for metal and i must say the sale is a great idea!!!!!, anyway i think 25mm for the romans is good because you can produce a bigger army and they are still detailed. but even if there 150mm il still buy watever prince august romans come out!! As I stated we will probably go ahead with 32mm scale. That will allow plenty of detail, 2 figures in each mould and allow large armies to be cast without requiring a whole room to be keep aside to display them.

32mm sounds fine to me ;D, having been a fan of the 25mm Romans, I can't wait for the new moulds. Will their be some interchangeable elements and when will the first ones be produced?

Warforge are a range of 32mm moulds that will be aimed at the gaming enthusiasts. It is similiar to the 32mm Fantasy Armies we currently stock but was renamed and developed by our French Distributor last year.

Warforge. Are you sure you aren't going to run into trademark problems. I think Wizards of the Coast has the term Warforged trademarked (a race in it's Eberon D&D setting)

I cannot fathom why PA moulds are going down the non-28mm route. If PA moulds are done in 28mm, you open up a whole new section of the buying populace to home moulding - historical wargamers! 28mm wargaming is on the rise in a big way - wouldn't it be best to jump on this bandwagon before it leaves PA behind? I'm sure others have said similar to this in previous posts.

Hi, Any updates on the Roman figures? Not yet, I wish I had. I am still championing that cause. The fantasy armies release really screwed up our release budget so we had to delay other releases a bit. Currently I have no more info on the Romans, but I will keep up the good fight.

Why not make a Roman Chess Set?

Why not make a Roman Chess Set? I have mentioned this possiblity too and hope to make it reality someday. If other forum members like the idea, please submit your support. Give us some ideas for each chess piece too and what time period. Rome was around for a long time. I reckon we should stick with the most famous period, when the troops wore banded mail and those cool curved rectangular shields. They are the most commonly seen in films and so are mostly associalted with that empire. Perhaps the Gauls would make interesting opposition?
