i agree with all the comments regarding british infantry and cavalry, but lets have some decent poses! some of the french grenadiers are superb, comparaable if not better than many commercially produced figures, however the riflemen poses???..I have suggested on a number of occasions that britsh infantry action and generic hussar moulds would really sell well..............................Also to produce moulds of the cast napoleonic and A.C.W figures as they look super figures with many conversion possibilites.I love the products and have most of the 54mm from all ranges, quite a few 25 and 40 mm.I hope the moderator will take these criticisms in the spirit intended................................The at ease range are attractive but really do have a ltd use............Is it possible to post small pics in a post so we can see each others work?........Hope the forum grows and grows!....keep up the excellent work P.A.

To add an image you must know the full URL of that image. So for example: www.yourwebsite.com/images/napoleon.jpgOnly add small .jpgs please. First click on the 'add image' icon on the list above. It should leave two tags with a text URL in between. Replace the URL with the actual link. That should be it. Example of adding an image. Please be responsible and aware that if you add an image it will affect other members as well. I will remove any image I deem too large or off-topic. If you have large lmages to show make a link to your own webpage to show it. Thanks.

So I take that to mean that there are no plans for a user gallery on this forum, nor should we expect a feature to upload images direct from the C Drive...

We are sorry but we do supply the option for a gallery. Send us the pictures and we can post them up on our Collectors pages for free. They have to be pictures of our products or conversions using our porducts. Many long term collectors have their work there.
We don't have the option of allowing people to post pictures from their hard drives, it would require a higher level of security like Ebay or Yahoo to make sure that was a safe option (virus and hacker problems).
However since there are many free website hosting options these days we assume if you want to make a on-line gallery you can do so easily enough. Then just link to it.
Adding pictures can also be achieved if you want by sending me the images and I will host them, then you can link to them directly. I can give you a folder like this: /forum/john-smith/napoleonic.jpg You just add the prince august address into the start and you have your images for all to see.
When I say small pictures I mean not larger than 30kb in size and not too wide. That is to allow for reasonable loading times of the threads and no distortion while allowing about 500 pixal wide images to be seen.
Hows that for fair?

Seems quite fair to me, Michael. Anyway, you already gave me a collector's page, so who am I to complain ? ;D But if even 1/4 of the people here wanted their own collector's page, I don't see how you'd have time for it. The hosting option sounds like a great idea.

I have come late to this great metal casting hobby but if I may make some suggestions (pleas really). I have enjoyed casting the 54mm Napoleonic moulds but have been dismayed at the lack of ‘ordinary’ line figures from both the French & English armies. Where are the line figures standing firing, kneeling firing and prepared to meet cavalry? These should have different heads, injured, hatless, different hair, beards etc that could be used for any nationality. I have read your forums and there seems to be a consensus of support over the years for the above type of figures. I could only suggest that these types of moulds would be a commercial success, particularly on the approach to the 200th anniversary of Waterloo. On a last note what has happened to the fridge magnet bears.
Thanks for listening and keep up the good work
