I created my first castings today. I am using a Prince August Napoleonic Soldiers kit. The castings require affixing arms to the bodies. I used Super Glue (cyanoacrylate adhesive). I had a lot of difficulty getting the parts to adhere. Can someone provide guidance for this process? Thanks.

Clean your parts carefully with a brush (and cloth) to remove all particles left over from filing or residue from the mould. 2. Scratch with a blade a # (crosshatch) on the body where the arms will fit. This roughens the surface so the glue has more grip. 3. You could try a better glue or try soldering parts together. We have videos on our site about that. shop.princeaugust.ie/videos/
