We are considering selling trees and flocking, etc for model building. This could be useful for making battlegrounds and other areas to place your armies. Would you think this is a good idea.
Let us know what you want to buy for accessories.

Maybe not stuff that's widely available elsewhere but, sticking with the casting theme, could the 'Dungeon Builder' idea be revisited...?

I'm with John Robinson on this one, especially for rather timeless items, so I could use them with both Napoleonics as well as Fantasy. Besides walls, hedgerows, fences, gates etc. perhaps some barricades consisting of crates, a wagon wheel, etc? And gabions? You can never have too many gabions!

Sorry, forgot to answer the original question: I, for one, would not buy any scenery materials from PA, since there is an abundance of it al local train shops and fairs, so I'ld save on the international shipping.

And another suggestion: how about some wheels, to make your own carts etc.? For instance a mould for a large and a small spoked and a large and a small solid wheel, plus two axles of different length? Plus naturally a mould for one or two generic draft horses! I can see endles scratchbuilding potential for those two.

If we produce it in a scale you and others don't wasnt then it is a waste. 54mm, 40mm, 28mm?

For the older Roman 25mm range, I have created a chariot using the wheels from the french 25mm cannon. Turned out very well. I have every intention of making some 25mm napoloenic carts.

As for the selling of accessories, after my visit to the shop in Cork last week, I think you should be selling the range of trees, flocking, etc. (that you have in stock) on your website. Good quality and value items from people that I have had dealings with, both in person and by post - absolutely!

P.S. The trees in packs of twos (I think) looked exceptionally good.

As for the scale of wheels, I'ld like to see 25/28mm, to go with your existing ranges.

i would welcome it. Especially trees, since the ones that i can find dont scale very well with your moulds. For 40mm figures you would need trees that is about 25-30cm high for it to look somewhat realistic. For the 25mm figures the trees that the "train-companies" have is sufficient. ( Heki, Auhagen)
Which company would you buy yours from?

Hi, Steve here... I think PA selling trees, flock, and other scenery making material is a fantastic idea, provided that, the quality of product matches the quality of products already produced by PA... for example, if your going to sell trees, sell well thought-out, and rendered trees... I live any Canada, and I buy a huge portion of my hobby supplies from other countries, so, shipping cost for decent supplies isn't any issue with me as I'm ordering overseas products regularly.
